I saw a cross while I was in Memphis a few weeks back visiting my family. I thought to myself I can make that! So here is my first try at it. I really think it turned out pretty good. I would love to make you one and I will charge you half the price of the one I saw in Memphis!!!!!! $70 and colors can be changed:)
Speaking of the cross, have you been to The Cross lately? Have you spent time with Jesus today, this week, or this month? He wants you to. In fact, He is pursuing you right now because He wants to spend time with you. Run to the cross!!!!!

Smokey Mac
At dinner, Tyler chose not to eat what I cooked. So he decided he would have macaroni and cheese. Well, Tyler knows how to cook easy mac and cheese in the microwave. This time, however, he forgot to put water in the bowl. Needless to say, after 3 minutes in the microwave, the mac and cheese burned and smoke filled the house!
It was an interesting evening. Did you know that boiling water and vinegar helps remove that burnt smell?????
So Tyler's new nickname is Smokey Mac:)

First Day of School
So, where did the summer go? I can't believe that school is already back in session! Both the boys were really excited about their first day. Tyler had already met his teacher and knew where his classroom was, so he was ready to go. Hayden knew where he was going but wasn't completely sure about everything.
Don't the boys look so cute! They are sooo cute that I could just eat them up!

Tyler's All Star Baseball team the Forest Hill Red Sox had a great summer. They ended their time together with a party at a MS Braves game. Tyler had sooooo much fun!

Camp
The past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind. Tyler had baseball camp 2 weeks ago from 8:30 to 4:00 everyday. Then both the boys had Soccer camp last week from 9:00-12:00 everyday. I don't know how they managed the heat but they did. Tyler thoroughly enjoyed baseball camp. I figured each morning I would have to drag him out of bed to get dressed, but he jumped right out of bed to get dressed and eat breakfast. That tells me he really enjoyed it. Both Hayden and Tyler liked soccer camp. They came home everyday showing me their new moves they learned.
This is Tyler on the first day of baseball camp. Looks like I caught him with his eyes closed.
Well, just a couple of weeks before school starts. Let's make the most of these next 2 weeks!

11 Years
Today, Corey and I have been married for 11 years. It seems like just yesterday I was publishing a post about our 10 year anniversary. Each year seems to move faster and faster. I love you Corey more today than yesterday and I will love you more tomorrow than I do today. Love you with all of my heart!

Cutter Out of the House
Well, Cutter had to go back outside. After doing pretty well for a couple of months, he decided one afternoon while we were running errands that he would chew on one of our cameras! Oh I was sooo upset. See you outside Cutter!

Tournament Champs!
The Red Sox played their final tournament in Pearl July 9th and 10th. It was a Round Robin tournament so every team played at least 3 games. The Red Sox made it to the championship game and won 16-10!!!!! Way to go Red Sox!

We're #1!
Tyler with Coach Chad

Tyler with his tongue out.

Isn't that trophy too cool?! It's a baseball glove and it can hold a ball. So Tyler will have to get a ball that all the players and coaches can sign.

Family Vacation 2010 - Orange Beach, AL
Once again, our family headed to the beach. This time, we went to Orange Beach, AL. Despite the oil, we had a great time!
This was our first day at the beach. Hayden is all smiles:)

We had a great time! Think we will take another break from the beach and do something different next year.

Tyler building a sand castle.
You don't see this too much on the beach . . . a tractor. This was part of the oil clean-up crew.
Corey enjoying some shade.
Here's another site you don't see, at least up close. These 2 boats were skimming and corralling oil.
Corey enjoying the lazy river.
This was a common site. The boys playing the DS.
Family pic at LuLu's.
Daddy, Tyler, and Mr. Fred digging for shells.
What a deep hole you have dug, Daddy!!!! Digging for shells was probably the most memorable thing the boys did this year. Digging down 3 feet, we discovered some really great treasures:)
Hayden scored a hole in one!
Tyler scored one too!
The boys playing in the ocean.
They loved jumping when the waves crashed.
I got to bury the boys in the sand.

We stayed at Phoenix West which had a water slide and lazy river. This was such a great place to stay.
