Annie - a Trip to New Stage Theater

Tyler's 3rd grade class took a trip to New Stage to see the play "Annie."  We got dressed up, and afterwards went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and play.

Christmas at the Wolfes

I absolutely love, love, LOVE Christmastime!  I love decorating and getting into the Christmas Spirit.  I love it so much that I began decorating mid November this year (well if you go to all the trouble of decorating, you may as well leave it up for a long period of time:)  LOL).  And of course, the boys love it when we pull the decorations from the attic.  They love helping decorate the tree by putting ornaments on (well for a little while anyways).

Tree in the kitchen

I didn't do anything fancy to the mantle this year....just stockings.

The tree in the foyer.  This is the boys tree since the ornaments are outdoors - hunting, fishing, etc.

Festival Of Trees and Lights 2011

Our school's biggest fundraiser is the Festival of Trees and Lights.  Each year our school has this week long event.  Several trees are decorated  as well as wreaths, table decor, and garland that can be purchased. There is also bake sale and the week closes with a celebration night and silent auction.  During the week, each grade sings and parents and grandparents come check it out!

Zoo Boo in Memphis

We headed to Gram and Granddaddy's for the weekend.  While we were there, Zoo Boo was going on at the Memphis Zoo.  What a fun night!  The kids dressed up in their costumes and took their pumpkins  and we went on our way.  The zoo was packed!  I don't think I have ever seen that many people at the zoo before.

Waiting to go.

It was very cold that night, so we had to improvise a bit on the costumes to keep warm.

This was a singing pumpkin patch.  You can't see it here, but the pumpkins lit up and sang songs.  Too cute!

Waiting in line to ride some rides.  How handsome are these boys????

We ended the evening at the magic show.  Oh what fun!

Tyler's Spider Project

Here is the final product of Tyler's spider project for school.  He chose to do the Jumping Spider.  This one in particular was black, red, and white.  Can you see the silk strand coming from behind the spider?  This is what the spider makes as it gets ready to jump on its prey!  Good Job Tyler!

We made spider web cookies for their spider party.  These were fun to make!
