Family FUN Night

This past Tuesday, our family enjoyed a night of playing Super Stretchy ABC (a Dr. Suess game similar to Twister).  We love being together and really enjoy playing games together.

Tyler and the Lost Tooth

Yesterday, January 23, 2010 marks a special day in the life of Tyler Wolfe.  He lost his very first tooth!  For the last week he has been wiggling his tooth as much as he could so the tooth would come on out.  You see, his permanent tooth was already coming in behind the baby tooth.  So, it needed to come out soon so the other tooth can move into place.  Tyler is just beside himself!  He told me, "I just can't believe I lost my tooth!"  He is so proud.  Now everyone in his class at school has lost a tooth, he says.  And, of course, the Tooth Fairy came.  Tyler put his tooth under his pillow last night.  The very first thing he did when he got up . . . "Mommy, Mommy!   Guess what the Tooth Fairy brought me?!  $5.00!"  So much fun!

Do We Have Enough Legos?

Legos seem to be the craze among my boys right now.  They received several boxes of Legos this Christmas, and we have finally put them all together.  I don't think it's just the boys that like them.  I must say that Mommy enjoys putting them together, too!  We have built a firetruck, jeep, airplane, helicopter, dump truck, camper, pizza shop, bus, and bus stop.  We've been busy!

With the weather being so cold, we decided to bring our lab Cutter indoors.  He got a bath, and I don't think he realizes just how good he has it!

Tyler's Loose Tooth

For the longest time, Tyler has been asking, "When am I going to lose a tooth?"  Everyone in his class at school has lost a tooth but him, he says.  Well. . .  Tyler came to me this morning while I was still in the bed and whispered in my ear, "My tooth is really loose." (It's one of his front bottom teeth.)  He is so excited!  So here is Tyler smiling with a current full set of teeth.  Maybe within the next couple of weeks he will have lost the tooth.  We'll see.

Happy New Year 2010

A brand new year started today.  In fact, a brand new decade started today!  The Wolfe Family did absolutely nothing.  We slept late, stayed in our pajamas all day long, played games, and watched football. What a way to start out the new year!  But then again, Corey has a horrible head cold and feels like poo poo.   So with the new year come some New Year Resolutions, right?  I have a couple.  I want to read the Bible in a year.  I have attempted to do this in past years, but never quite completed it.  I think another one is going to be to take more pictures of my family.  I will do my best to capture pics of my family weekly.
