Spring Baseball - End of the Season

Look at these sweet pictures.  Both of my boys  - #8.

These are some pictures of Tyler's baseball party.

Trophies!  Way to go Rip Tides!!!!!!

Tyler with Coach Wade.  Coach Wade is a great coach.  He really invested a lot of his time in the team teaching them the sport of baseball.  The team really improved from the the beginning of the season.  Thanks Coach!

Date Night with my Boys

Our church's Children's Ministry had a night just for Mothers and their sons.  It was so much fun!  It was a camping themed party held at the pavilion.  We ate dinner, played games, and made crafts.

We each had to draw a part of story.  Tyler drawing an eagle.

The boys had the most fun in the canoe races!

Me and my boys.  They made a Mom magnet for me, and I made them football pillows.

I love you guys and am so honored and blessed to be your Mommy!  Thank you Lord for my sweet boys.

End of the Year Programs

Hayden's End of the Year program at Wynndale started off ok.  Hayden came out on stage with the rest of his class, ready to sing songs.  Then he found Mommy and Daddy in the audience and decided to be shy.

This is Hayden at the beginning of the program.

Just seconds later after he spotted Mommy and Daddy, he covers his eyes.

This is what he looked like for the rest of the program.

Hayden said that if he covered his eyes, no one could see him.   Little did he know that all eyes were on him:)

Tyler had a great Awards Day!  It started off with a serenade to Mrs. Brown, principal for the Lower School.  She is retiring, so this was her last Awards Day.  Tyler received 3 awards!  Go Tyler!!!!!
He received the following awards.

Principal's List for the 2009-2010 School Year
Honorable Mention in Accelerated Reading - 110.7 pts
Outstanding Art Student for 2009-2010

Tyler just kept moving, so it was difficult for me to get a still shot.

I love my boys.  They did so well in school this year!

Splish Splash, I Was Taking A Bath

Lately, Hayden has asked to take baths during the day (in addition to the shower he normally takes at night).  Got a couple of snapshots of him in the soapsuds.  I guess it is just another excuse to play!

End of the Year Party

Tyler's First Grade Class went to Funtime Skateland for their End of the Year party.  Tyler had never been skating before, so this was an exciting experience for him.  He had such a blast!  He is begging to go back, like today!  He said "Mommy, right now, all I can think about is skating.  I've just got to go back!"

Tyler took a fall . . . he took several falls.  But, when we fall, we get back up again!

Tyler is SEVEN!!!

I can't believe that my Tyler is 7 years old!  He keeps getting cuter and cuter.  He is so smart, and he loves to read, play baseball, fish, build Legos and ride his bike!

Thank you Lord for Tyler!  What a blessing he is to our family.  I pray, Lord, that you continue to watch over him . . . protect him from harm and sickness.  Shield him from the evil one.  Thank you for his tender heart.  I pray that you strengthen him and comfort him when he is afraid.  Lord, I pray that he comes to know you as Savior and Lord very soon.  I pray that he will love you with all of his heart, that he will desire to know your Word, and that he will serve you with joy and gladness!  I pray for good Christian friends that will encourage him and help him to walk in your ways and your truths.  I trust you in this, Lord.

Tyler had a Hunting birthday party.  Obviously, since Corey loves to hunt, we didn't have to go far to get decorations!

Tyler and little bro Hayden

Tyler in his new camo and with his new BB gun.

One of the games at the party was to stuff as many balloons in oversized hunting clothes in 2 minutes.

Ryan and Kaden stuffing Tyler.

Jesse stuffing Austin.

Looks like they filled every space!

Tyler had so much fun at his party.  He spent the afternoon shooting turtles in the lake with his new BB gun!

FIELD DAY

Tyler had Field Day today at school.  The kids were so excited.  The theme this year was Wild Things (like the book).  I think the theme was more like WATER because just about every game involved water.  But the kids were even more excited about that!

The kids had to pick up as many marbles as they could with their toes.

This was Tyler's favorite game.  He held the bottle on his head . . .

. . . and the next kid had to squeeze water from a sponge to get as much water as they could into the bottle.   Of course, the best part was getting soaked!
