First Day of School

I can not believe it is time for school to start back!  And this year, my Hayden is headed to kindergarten!  It's bittersweet.  Bitter in that he is old enough now to actually go to school.  Sweet because he is so pumped about going.

The boys were dressed, had eaten, and had made their beds all before 6:45 the morning of the first day.  Needless to say, they were so excited about their first day!

Weekend with the Warrens

We all loaded up and headed to northern Alabama for the weekend to stay with Corey's sister and brother-in-law at their lake house.  Smith Lake is sooooo beautiful!  Can I say we had a wonderful time?!

Here are some highlights!

Jack, Hayden, Corey and Honey

I guess that Hayden had enough.  He really didn't get back on the tube the rest of the time we were there.

Corey contemplating jumping.  This was about a 40 jump.

Now he's discussing with another person.

Here he goes!

I actually attempted this and jumped successfully!

Jason contemplating on jumping.  I think we waited for 30 minutes before he finally took the plunge!

Corey giving skiing a try.  It's been a while since he skied last, but it's like riding a bike.
He did a few tricks!   Way to go Corey!

Fun at the Waterpark

I took the boys to Paradise Falls, a water park in Collins.  We spent the entire day - from the time it opened until the time it closed at 5pm.  We played and played and played!  With the weather being so extremely hot during the day, it's difficult to play outside, so we thought this was a great idea!
