You Win Some and You Lose Some

Up through today, Tyler's baseball team was undefeated.  Then we played the other undefeated team in our league and lost.  But my dad shared a positive - you can learn so much from losing, thus a win.  If you never lose, you never really focus on what you need to improve on.  (My dad is always so positive.  I love that about him!  Thanks Dad!)

Spring Soccer Comes to an End

Every fun thing must come to an end including soccer and just when Tyler was really becoming more confident.  Here are a few pictures to end the season.  Did I mention before that Hayden did not want to play?

At the end of the season, Tyler discovered that he enjoyed playing Stopper.  His favorite part was goal kicks.

Tried to capture Tyler in action - goal kick.

All hands in - GGGOOOOOOOOO TITANS!!!!!!

Hayden and T-Ball

Hayden loves baseball.  Every time we tell him he has a game, he asks if we can get to the ball field right now.  He loves to hit the ball and catch ground balls.  (He's not interested in soccer right now.)

Getting ready to run from first base to second.

More Baseball

Here are some more pictures of Spring Baseball - team and individual pics.

Easter Evening

Check out these photos I caught as the sun was setting.  This is a cross in my neighbor's yard across the street from us.  God is so amazing!

This is my favorite!

EGGciting Easter!

Easter this year was great and the weather was superb!  We played outside all weekend - fishing, baseball, soccer, playing in the flowerbeds - we did it all.  Saturday evening we dyed eggs, Sunday morning the Easter Bunny came, and after church we ate a good lunch and hunted eggs!

Tyler and Hayden dying eggs.

The Easter Bunny came!
The Easter Bunny brought a Chore Chart for both the boys.  Might not sound like fun, but the boys were thrilled and excited about hanging it up and getting started.  (Especially now that they know they will get rewarded for jobs well done.)

My handsome boys!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Tyler's Spring Baseball season has begun.  Tyler has moved up to Farm League which is coach pitch only, no tee.  Tyler has done really well!  He is able to hit just about any ball pitched to him.  He is loving baseball, and his Mommy might be loving it much more :)  Tyler's team just named themselves - Riptides.  Go Riptides!

This is Tyler's friend Payton getting a turn at trying out the Catcher position.

LOOK - No Training Wheels!

Tyler has now learned how to ride his bike without training wheels!  He has been doing it on and off for a few months but this past week in Memphis with Gram and Granddaddy, he was very confident.  He still has a few spills with scraped knees and elbows, but I guess that is part of the learning process.  Way to go Tyler!

Tyler getting some encouragement from Mommy.  Tyler just didn't think he could do it, but he could.  When he was confident, I asked him, "Who said you couldn't do it?"  He said, "No one."  I said, "That's right.  The only one who said he couldn't do it was you."   Yea Tyler!

Hayden having fun riding his bike, too.

What's Old Is New
