Hot Springs, AR

The boys and I headed to Memphis and then on to Hot Springs with my parents.  My mom's side of the family was getting together  and I have not seen them in quite some time.  We had a wonderful time.

This is one beautiful spring.  I was amazed at how hot the water was.  I knew the town was called Hot Springs but had no idea that the water was that hot!  You could only put your hand in for just a second.  It was mid-summer hot and you could see the steam coming from the hot water!

My aunt and uncle live in Hot Springs Village.  There are a few lakes in that area and this is one we went to.  The boys played in the sand at the shore and went swimming.

The condo that we stayed at had a 9 hole miniature golf course which the boys thought was so cool.

The last day we were in Hot Springs, we all went in together and rented a party barge and  Big Thriller tube.  We all had a blast.

Before I could ask who would be first, Hayden had already jumped in and was headed toward the raft:)  Tyler said, "You go first, Hayden."

Tyler and Hayden are loving it!

MSU Ladies Football Clinic

My sister and I had the opportunity to head back to our Alma Mater and participate in a Ladies Football Clinic.  We had a fabulous time.  We went up the night before and toured campus which is so drastically different than when we attended.

The morning of, we were greeted by

Megan Mullen

Stringer - Athletic Director

We got autographs and pictures with the more popular players.

My sister and I with Chris Relf, Quarterback

John Hevesy, Offensive Line coordinator

Geoff Collins, Co-Defensive Coordinator

Linda Bell, whose son Nick Bell played for MSU.  He died about this time lest year.
One of the sessions was learning techniques from throwing the football to carrying the football.  We practiced tackling and blocking.  We even did strengthening drills.  Here I am doing pushups:)
