Hillcrest Homecoming
The kids had a great morning celebrating homecoming. They watched the parade and then headed over to see the pep rally. The theme was Celebrating the Oldies.

And Fall Soccer Begins!
This year we have begun a new soccer league - Brilla Country Woods. Brilla is a professional soccer team that uses soccer as a platform to share the Gospel. It's really a cool partnership and I'm excited to see what God is going to do through this!
Go Hayden! I think he scored 10 goals in his first game! What a difference one year makes!
Tyler was excited about soccer this year, too. He seemed to be most confident playing in a defensive role.
Corey is loving that the boys love soccer!

MSU v Auburn
Corey and I had the opportunity to make the MSU v Auburn game this year in Starkville, and we had some great seats! We love going back to our Alma Mater (and without kids can sometimes be even better:) )
The night before the game, I decided to check out the MSU athletics website to see what events would be taking place before and during the game. I saw that they had a Punt, Pass, and Kick contest. I asked Corey if he wanted to enter and he said, "Sure, it's not like they are going to pick my name." Well . . . guess what????? They called him the morning of and said he had been selected!!!!!
