Summer Fun

The boys and I came up with plans for our Summer, so we knew we had some things to look forward to.

Monday - Water Day
Tuesday - Movie Day
Wednesday - Activity Day
Thursday - Field Trip Day
Friday - Game Day

This week, we had a water balloon fight, went to the $1 movie at Tinseltown to see Despicable Me, had a friend over to spend the night, and went to the Children's Museum (a must go to place!).

Most days we try to go to the pool, too.  Whew!

Can't wait until next week!

Wasp Stings - Ouch!

In the past 2 weeks, Hayden has been stung by wasps 3 times!  Hayden do you have a scent that makes them attracted to you?

Once at a friend's house on his head, second at the church on the ankle, and third at another friend's house on the head.  He's been a trooper, though.  Fortunately, he is not allergic:)

Clinton Invitational Tourney

Orange Crush played in Clinton, and once again they look even better than the first 2 tournaments.  They won their first game, lost second game 8-7, and lost third game 14-8.  We played a couple of teams that were in the first 2 tournaments and played a lot better.  Way to go Crush!

Isn't Tyler so cute?  I love to watch him swing the bat.  He definitely gives it all he has.

Speeding Ticket

On my way to take Tyler to camp a few weeks ago, I was not paying attention to how fast I was going.  Since the City of Byram became incorporated, we have a police department now and they are in full force with radar.  I normally set my cruise control so I won't have a problem, but I forgot to do so that day.  I was so focused on getting Tyler to camp that I just was not paying attention.  The cop wrote me up for 60 in a 50 zone.  It was really embarassing when a second cop showed up.  I felt like I was a criminal.

Staying Cool at the Pool

We joined the Courthouse again for the summer so we can play in the pool.  With the weather we have had so far, I'm so thankful we have a pool to go to.  It's not even summer yet, and temperatures have been in the mid to upper 90s for the past 3 weeks!  I wonder what summer is going to be like.
